In an overnight heist at a West Philadelphia Chinese takeout restaurant, an ATM was blown apart, leaving twisted metal and damage to the machine’s housing.
The explosion occurred at Foodland Express on 57th and Arch streets, resulting in an undisclosed amount of cash being stolen.
Philadelphia police are investigating the incident but have not disclosed details about the explosive device used in the robbery.
