Philadelphia authorities are launching an investigation after a shocking video showed a dirt bike rider smashing a car’s rear windshield while two children were seated in the back.

The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. near City Hall and was captured on video by George Coloney, who shared it on Instagram.

In the footage, a dirt bike rider jumps onto the back of a car, using his feet to shatter the rear windshield. District Attorney Larry Krasner expressed concern about the shattered glass endangering a child in the backseat.

The car’s driver, Nikki Bullock, was delivering for Uber Eats and had her girlfriend and their 5-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son with her. The confrontation began when Bullock’s car was sideswiped by the dirt bike rider near City Hall.

Bullock got out of her car, approached the rider, who appeared to be armed, and then the confrontation escalated. The rider eventually fled with a group of bikers.

Fortunately, Bullock and her girlfriend retrieved their children from the backseat and walked away unharmed. Bullock promptly filed a police report.

Authorities are actively pursuing the dirt bike rider, with Krasner condemning the “completely outrageous” behavior. He vowed to vigorously pursue charges once the individual is apprehended.
