On Monday, a tragic discovery was made in a Philadelphia hotel room, where a flight attendant was found lifeless with a cloth in her mouth, according to authorities.
The 66-year-old woman was discovered in a room at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott hotel shortly before 11 p.m., as reported by the Philadelphia Police Department.
The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, was found unresponsive. She was declared deceased by first responders at approximately 10:40 p.m., and her body was subsequently transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small has labeled the circumstances surrounding the death as “suspicious” and mentioned that the woman had been taking several medications, according to local reports.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered. Homicide detectives have initiated an investigation into this tragic incident, as per police statements.
