Authorities in Philadelphia are launching an investigation following the discovery of a deceased man on a city street.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, the Philadelphia Police Department responded to reports of an unresponsive individual in the 700 block of East Madison Street.
Preliminary details indicate that the victim, an unidentified man, suffered fatal blunt force trauma to the head. Tragically, medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
At this time, no weapons have been recovered, and there have been no immediate arrests in connection with the homicide.
