Sprouts Farmers Market is set to expand its presence in Philadelphia with the addition of at least six new stores in the next two years. Currently, Sprouts has successfully established its healthy and unique offerings at various locations in the region.
In 2024, two new stores are slated to open in Northeast Philadelphia’s Roosevelt Mall and the Quartermaster Plaza shopping center in South Philadelphia. Looking ahead to 2025, an additional store will grace Northern Liberties at the former Festival Pier site, while another location in Limerick, Montgomery County, is also in the pipeline, with the opening date yet to be confirmed. Furthermore, two more stores are in the works, though their exact locations and opening dates are yet to be disclosed.
Each store is expected to provide employment for around 90 team members. Sprouts Farmers Market, renowned for its fresh produce and natural products, has been on an expansion spree, recently celebrating its 400th store opening in New Jersey. This growth aligns with the company’s goal to expand by 10% annually as part of its five-year store growth plan.
