Two men sustained injuries in separate shootings in Philadelphia over Friday evening and early Saturday morning, prompting police investigations.

The first shooting occurred at 11:01 p.m. on Friday at the 500 block of S. 54th Street. A 20-year-old man, who had been shot in the left thigh, arrived at the hospital via a private vehicle. Fortunately, he is now in stable condition.

In another incident at 9:43 a.m. on Saturday, a 28-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his left thigh at Atwood Road and Lansdowne Ave. He was initially taken to the firehouse on the 5500 block of Chestnut Street by private vehicle and later transported to the hospital by the medic unit, where he was also placed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made in either case, and investigations are ongoing.
