A barricade situation in West Philadelphia has concluded, but the homicide suspect, initially believed to be inside, remains at large. 

The suspect is accused of fatally shooting a co-worker on Tuesday at 500 N. 57th Street, resulting in the victim’s tragic death. 

Following the incident, the suspect retreated to his residence at 100 N. Ruby Street and conveyed his unwillingness to return to prison. After a two-hour standoff, police entered the home, only to find it empty. The suspect’s identity remains undisclosed.
